The waiver below was mostly taken from other events as a form to remind everyone to be careful of their actions when training and doing adventure activities. We recommend everyone get travel insurance and have health insurance when they travel.

Undersigned (hereinafter the Participant) hereby irrevocably & unconditionally waive and release from any form Joe Sandoval and other Participants, (all four hereinafter known as Releases) from any & all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any nature whatsoever whether in law or equity, known or unknown, occurring during, caused by, relating to, or arising in any way from participation at Colombia Secret Zouk Festival.

Participants also understand that attending an event at Colombia Secret Zouk Festival may involve voluntary participation in physical activities both indoors and outdoors, and certain exposure to wildlife and walks, steps, paths, uneven roads, and water. With these, and all related activities, there is a certain element of physical risk, such as hikes, swims, and training.

By accepting this waiver, visitors and Participant hereby acknowledge that participation and use of facilities and grounds are at Participant’s own risk and that Participant assumes all responsibilities for any and all aspects of participation by both Participant and any children who might accompany Participant. 

Participant also understands that this Release & Waiver of Liability irrevocably and unconditionally releases and holds harmless all Releases from any financial or other liability for any injury, bodily harm, sickness, illness, or loss of life that I as a Participant or my family member or friend may suffer and from any economic harm or loss of property occurring during, caused by, relating to, or arising in any way out of participating at Colombia Secret Zouk Festival.

Colombia Secret Zouk Festival Code of Conduct

In our commitment to creating a safe and respectful environment for all participants, the Colombia Secret Zouk Festival establishes the following code of conduct. By attending the event, you agree to abide by these rules and respect all attendees, instructors, and organizers.

Right of Admission and Expulsion:

We reserve the right of admission and expulsion in case of inappropriate behavior or violations of this code of conduct. This includes, but is not limited to:

1. Abuse: Any form of physical, verbal, or emotional abuse towards other participants, instructors, or event staff will not be tolerated.
2. Aggressiveness: Aggressive, intimidating, or violent behaviors will not be tolerated at any time during the event.
3. Sexual Harassment: Sexual harassment in any form, including unwelcome comments, gestures, or contact, will not be tolerated and will result in immediate expulsion.
4. Hate Speech: Any form of hate speech based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or other protected characteristic will result in expulsion.
5. Defamation: Defamation or spreading of false rumors that may damage the reputation of other participants or the event will not be tolerated.
6. Damage to Facilities: Any intentional damage to event facilities will result in expulsion and may result in financial liability.
7. No Right to Transfers or Refunds: In case of expulsion due to serious violations of this code of conduct, no right to transfers or refunds will be granted.

Incident Reporting:

Any incident that violates this code of conduct should be reported immediately to an event staff member so that appropriate action can be taken.

By adhering to this code of conduct, you contribute to creating an inclusive, safe, and positive environment for all Zouk Event participants.

Terms and Conditions for Ticket Returns and Transfers for Colombia Secret Zouk Festival

1. Ticket Validity:

Purchased tickets are valid only for the specific date indicated during the purchase on the Eventbrite platform.

1. Returns:

No cash refunds are offered for purchased and unused tickets.

1. Ticket Transfer:

Tickets can be transferred to another person who can attend the event in place of the original buyer. The transfer request must be made at least before November 5, 2024. The new beneficiary must have the same role (leader or follower) as the original buyer. The transfer request must be made only by email and its cost is 15 USD, which must be paid before the request.

1. Credit for the Following Year:

Instead of transferring the ticket to another person, the original buyer can choose to use the credit for the same event in the immediately following year.

1. Transfer Process:

The transfer request must include the complete details of the new beneficiary. The transfer validation will be done within one week after receiving the complete details of the new beneficiary.

1. No-Show without Transfer:

In case the participant purchases a ticket but does not attend the event without having requested the transfer or credit beforehand and within the established deadlines, no refund or transfer benefits will apply.
